Please note that a school closure due to snow is issued by the Superintendent or Secretary-Treasurer. Closure announcements will be made as close to 6:30 a.m. as possible. Please monitor your local media sources (e.g. CFAX 1070) if you are wondering whether or not school is in session.
Please also note the following guidelines announced to students today regarding sledding:
Sledding only on the slope leading to the soccer field (not on the steep slope adjacent to the Primary playground).
Only plastic or styrofoam sleds allowed (no wooden or metal sleds).
No "surfing;" that is, students must be seated when sledding.
Helmets are recommended - but there is no District policy which enforces this, and so we leave
the wearing of helmets for sledding
up to parents to decide.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
